This anime is basically just shameless fangirl fodder in which a series of extremely tropey/cliche anime male "types" are all condensed and showcased within a 4 minute long one-sided conversation cringefest for your viewing pleasure. No need to worry about being canonblind here since there's VEEERY little canon "story" to begin with! In fact you could easily bingewatch the whole series in less than an hour. Therefore, while much of the info I write below will be based on actual info from the show, a lot of it is also just headcanon and/or educated guesses based on official art.

Summation: A quiet astronomy major often seen with his head in the clouds- or rather, in the stars. To most people he may seem mysterious, cold, or perhaps even antisocial. The reality is that Ryuushi is just an awkward guy who can't manage holding a conversation to save his life.... Until you manage to get him talking about space, that is- at which point he becomes a complete motormouth.
 

Additional info: 

- Due to his modestly attractive appearance and mysterious aura, it's common for Ryuushi to draw the attention of people who become curious enough to try and figure him out, like this flashy guy who occasionally drags him around campus for some reason).

- But he finds it difficult to hold anyone's interest for very long, and is often called stonefaced/unreadable.

- He's half German, half Japanese.

- Apologizes a Lot.
 

- So docile that it's actually really easy to get him to do almost anything with enough persistence.

- Spaces out a lot during the daytime while he lusts for longs for the stars; can be a bit ditsy and maybe even absent-minded when his mind is preoccupied.
 

- Dresses very plainly (probably has a grand total of like 3 boring outfits that he recycles).

- Slightly superstitious.

- Dislikes rainy weather since clouds block out his view of the stars. 

- Frequently makes/hangs teru teru bozu in his spare time to ward off bad weather.

- Likes picnicking.

- Almost always alone.

- Sucks at speaking/conveying his feelings (unless it's about stars.)

- Also big into astrology as well.

- In desperate need of interaction with people who can drag him out of his introverted comfort-zone. (Please be patient with him! Or don't be. Up to you~)

Backtagging: Yes please! My tagging speed is usually moderate-slow on work days. I am also perfectly fine with receiving tags that are waaaay late, as long as you keep in mind that I may not be able to get back into a very old thread if I'm super busy or lost inspiration for it.

Cross-canon: Of course! I actually prefer it this way most of the time.

 

Cross-medium: Outside of non-serious threads/memes, I'm not a huge fan of this, actually! At least not in terms of playing animated characters against RL people/actors. Not sure why but for some reason it's always easier for me to thread anime/video game/manga characters with muses from similar (illustrated/animated) genres. I find it harder for my brain to process a thread otherwise, when I see flesh-and-blood people opposite animated characters. It's a weird hangup to have but sadly it's true!
